ooc/meta - 'verse clarification

In the "Adam 'verse" (I can call it that because there's only one for my Peter, unlike Adam dealing with zillions of different Peters *g*), we've decided that Peter follows canon up to a point, then things diverge around the time everything turns to crap for Adam. Since Adam isn't ending up the way he ends up in the show, Peter's also avoiding that part of the storyline.

Basically, things follow along most of the way with the show, including Peter ending up in the future and taking Sylar's ability (although like many, I wonder 'didn't he already do that the first time they met?' but hey, whatevs). But when he returns from the future he goes back to Adam for help instead of going to snarl at Sylar; there is no attacking Mom, no coma, no running off to confront Dad and getting the rug pulled out from under him.

He's still the optimistic, idealistic Peter we love, but he's got some darker edges now. He does get moody at times, and is still pretty freaked by killing future!Nathan, even if he can't view him as the future version of his Nathan. He also does know Sylar is his brother, from the info he got in the future, and is trying to work up the courage to have a talk with him about the hunger and control. The prospect isn't thrilling him, though. I think I'd worry if it were.

Yep -- well, at least that in the future something's really wrong with her and she kills future Peter. He'll be trying very hard to keep that from happening.

She'll be all for working with him to make sure it doesn't happen, definitely. That'll freak her out.
