As usual, typed while watching (and eating, too, so this may not quite be blow-by-blow)
1. Previously on: Creepy Samuel is creepy, Gullible Peter is gullible, Deaf chick is deaf, Gretchen has a girlcrush, and Mom has creepy friends.
2. Dark screen is dark. And then blue. And a helpful cop happens along and then is not helpful... Now... WHY, if the cop sees blood on the shirt and the person staggering around, would he automatically assume criminal instead of injured person? Seriously, WTF? Why 'down on the ground, hands behind your head' instead of 'are you hurt, do you need an ambulance?'
3. Breakfast at the carnival. Um... Why would you not say grace at every meal if you say grace? And Creepy Samuel is still creepy... Waffles every morning might be a lure for Hiro...
4. Claire and Gretchen. Oh no -- Sandra was a sorority girl? Bwahahaha oh dear. Stepford-Claire *snicker* And Claire, omg, do you realize you're flirting?
5. Oh dear, Sylar in the box. And who is Dr. Gibson? Her voice is so freaking familiar...
6. Ad for Milo short film looks adorable! Hee!
7. Sylar again -- poor thing is honestly pathetic right now, unless he's playing. But I don't really think he is, because he's always been afraid of losing who he is...
8. Deaf chick -- Emma? Ah hah -- the doc is her mom.
9. Peter talks to Mom, okay, this is a good start, but WTF is with her? She's not even listening to me. How nice.
10. Claire thinks she has a stalker. Oh Claire...
11. Damn it, they really are going to do this to me again, aren't they. Zzzzzz... TIRED of the Let's Prove Peter's Straight storyline. Although I did like the effects of the sound on the cop car siren.
12. Responsibility ad -- SO CUTE!!!
13. Well, at least now we know that I'm still stuck with the serial empathy instead of cumulative. *sigh* And I just thought of something Really Bad. What if the way Samuel ropes me in is by offering to fix/fixing me? Argh!
14. Samuel is planting something to see which of us is joining them first?
15. Gretchen's been in Claire's stuff AND saving pictures of her, and looking her up on the net? Oh dear... murder-suicide something cut off on the edge?
16. Okay, good thing it's just tea and not chai. *snicker* But I actually feel sorry for Sylar. "Just relax and be yourself." The question is, which one? And he can hear the ticking? Guess we now have proof that he still has the hearing, too (unless it was for dramatic effect...). And fingerprint match -- oops!
17. Peter looks for deaf chick, and gets distracted by the pretty colours... Ack, there she is. Hahahaha eyeballs say "Oh yeah." Oh come ON, I'm not that stupid. Thank gods, I finally figured it out. And she thinks she misunderstood because I'm talking crazy talk. Hah. Okay, I'm right handed, and play the piano. Lemme guess, Mom forced me into piano lessons? But still, please stop trying to fix me up with women every year!
18. And Claire looks so lost. And starts bonding and nearly gets to play graphic demonstration of abilities. Oops! Gretchen, dear, stop trying to kill your crush.
19. Sylar again -- oh no. Don't push him when he's unstable, this is really not a good idea. OOPS. See?
20. Intermission: Meet Lydia's daughter, NOW. But what if I don't want to?
21. Gabriel wants help. Is she going to?
22. Oh Claire. Hee! A book jumped off my desk and begged you to invade my privacy? Yes it did! Oh dear, maybe Gretchen really IS one of the carnies. *sigh* Here I thought she was just an innocent... um. You know. Ack. They're gonna get Stepfordized...
23. Ahhh, so SHE's the one messing with Claire. Chameleon ability. Nifty. And YIKES, Samuel, can you possibly be any more creepy? So, definitely not Claire joining them yet, probably not Peter, since he's connecting with someone right now and isn't being isolated. So... either Hiro, since he disappeared last week, or Sylar, since he's DEFINITELY isolated right now, and Dr. Gibson could be one of the carnies too!
24. Poor Sylar... This could go very badly. Okay, she saw the bullets come out, not that we can see a freaking thing... So she's not one of them, but he's going to run to them...
25. Either deaf chick stole the guy's cello, or she's owned one for a while, and that at least explains how she could play the first time ever. And OOPS. Cello playing of doom!
26. Hiro shows up at Peter's -- this is good, he'll be able to help him, maybe? Would be nice if they talk about Samuel...
27. Ah, yep, Sylar runs away to join the circus. NOT good. Does this mean we don't get Nathan back? What's Mom going to do now?
28. Next week -- didn't catch it all due to trying to get ready to switch tapes and channels, but yay, Peter will be helping Hiro (obviously, since he's going to get shot in the hand and there's a healer there and he'll need to be touched to be healed, which means that he'll get the ability, since he's apparently involuntarily doing it again instead of the voluntary absorption we saw in the middle of the stuff last season. *sigh* So, Hiro will get fixed -- will HE ever get fixed?
